Kai Yoga workshops are offered to students of our Teacher Training Program, as well as members and non-members and the general public. Most workshops have a minimum of 6 participants, some workshops may require more. If the minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, no refund will be issued. If for some reason you are unable to attend, credit towards another class or service may be issued at the discretion of the presenter/instructor and Kai Yoga Arts.
This is a free workshop is geared towards Yoga Teachers and Students of Yoga, or Anyone who has a deep interest and sincere yearning to learn more about the great Science of Yoga.

"This begins our study of Raja Yoga, or Ashtanga Yoga (Eight-Limbed Yoga). The Yoga Sutras as expounded by the sage Patanjali Maharishi comprise the first and foremost scripture of Yoga.
Man can manifest and function upon several planes according to his evolution. This workshop will explain the three bodies and the five sheaths, or koshas contained within them.
This course presents a systematic approach on the classical Hatha Yoga practices of Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Relaxation and Kriyas. Suitable to newcomers of Yoga, it is not necessary for the student to have any prior konwledge or experience of Yoga.
In Yoga, control of the body starts with cleaning processes known as kriyas, the first step to eliminating poisonous substances accumulated in the system. Yoga pays great attention to removing waste materials which our organs are not able to throw off.
In this workshop, we will learn about the origin of the disease process and introduce useful Yoga postures and breathing techniques for common modern-day ailments. The practice o Yoga delves deep down throughout all the layers to finally reach the root cause of the disease.
